By accessing or using this website, its online engineering calculators, technical fundamentals, simulation algorithms, or associated data services (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. 1. Professional Engineering Disclaimer

The calculation engines, engineering reference sheets, property correlations, and fundamentals provided on ChemProCal are developed for preliminary design estimation, educational review, and conceptual engineering evaluation only.

While every effort is made to maintain the highest standard of mathematical and thermodynamic accuracy in accordance with published engineering codes (such as API, ASME, ISA, and GPSA):

  • Calculations generated by ChemProCal do NOT substitute for certified professional engineering review, rigorous detailed design, site-specific hazard assessments (HAZOP/SIL), or vendor-certified equipment guarantees.
  • Final design, procurement, fabrication, and installation of process piping, pressure vessels, relief valves, rotating machinery, and instrumentation must be validated by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE / Chartered Engineer) in compliance with all applicable statutory regulations and project specifications.
  • ChemProCal assumes no legal liability for engineering decisions, plant modifications, equipment selection, or project outcomes resulting from the use of our calculators.

2. Permitted Use & User Responsibilities

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the public tools and content for your professional workflow, academic research, and personal engineering study. You agree that you will not:

  • Use automated scripts, web scrapers, bots, or crawlers to harvest mass data or disrupt service availability without prior written authorization.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the proprietary server-side algorithms or database architecture powering ChemProCal tools.
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass security measures, rate limiters, or access control headers.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of international export control laws.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All site layout, proprietary calculation logic, user interface code, technical articles, illustrations, diagrams, and trademarks displayed on ChemProCal are the exclusive intellectual property of ChemProCal and its licensors, protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. Referenced industry standards (such as API, ASME, Crane, or GPSA) remain the intellectual property of their respective publishing organizations and are referenced herein solely for identification, engineering context, and educational review under fair-use principles.

To keep engineering tools freely accessible to the global chemical engineering community, ChemProCal displays third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense.
